Warli is the result of my encounter with a cooperative of artisans in northern India, producers of high quality traditional carpets with the curiosity of Western designers.

“I began designing contemporary carpets in 1996.

I had been very fascinated, and in some ways I continue to be fascinated today, by how a great heritage of craftsmanship could take on such high levels of quality, as opposed to the most sophisticated industrial technologies. Having worked for years with important Italian and foreign furniture and light brands, working on surfaces and 'decoration' was a new project stimulus. I decided to use this experience and deal with the production and marketing of products designed by me through the creation of new brand.”

Warli was born in 1997 at Salone Satellite, with Moroso as its exclusive distributor until 2003. Since then it has been exhibiting at the most important international events with its 'Plein Sud' outdoor, indoor and contract carpet collections Equipment', putting itself among the first companies worldwide to use advanced synthetic fibers and new product types.

From 2018 Warli starts a broader chapter of products, made of furniture complements and lights, with a sophisticated design language of essentiality, structures, colors and material innovation that will initiate important collaborations and the projects of the best international architecture and interior design studios.
